Pham Duc Thang · Day Zero

Ideas.
Made real.

I'm Thang, an IT student exploring software, AI-assisted work, and new ways to learn. Here are the projects I've built and the decisions behind them.

Final-year project · EV charging

ChargeOps

An EV charging reservation project connecting station discovery, booking, QR check-in, and operations across a driver app and management console.

What I built

  • Defined booking, cancellation, and refund rules.
  • Built API workflows and driver/operator interfaces.
  • Kept project context and decisions in a Markdown knowledge base.
  • Web & mobile
  • Booking workflows
  • Java / Spring Boot
  • React / Expo

Personal project · Classroom reservations

RoomHub

A classroom booking project exploring room availability, multi-slot reservations, approval workflows, and real-time notifications.

What I built

  • Built reservation APIs and authentication.
  • Added asynchronous notifications and live updates.
  • Connected the React interface and Docker delivery setup.

Personal project · Voluntary support page

Nuôi Tôi

A playful personal support page starring Sư Tử Chủ Thầu 22/4. It presents optional meme-themed supply bundles, bank-transfer details, and a manual statement page that clearly marks its first report as not yet posted.

What I built

  • Built a responsive personal support page with React, Vite, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Created the Sư Tử Chủ Thầu mascot and meme-inspired support bundles.
  • Added bank-transfer details and a manual statement section with its status made explicit.

The approach behind Day Zero

How I work
with AI.

I work with AI from shaping an idea through implementation and verification, and I keep requirements, project rules, and decisions together in a Markdown knowledge base.

  1. 01

    Shape

Before coding, use AI to research, explore trade-offs, and refine requirements around the project's scope.

  2. 02

    Document

Record decisions in Markdown and configure project rules and skills that guide agents step by step.

  3. 03

    Delegate

For each task, select the relevant guidance and context and set clear acceptance criteria.

  4. 04

    Review

Check the results against the agreed plan and design, then make the final call myself.

A concrete review example

ChargeOps refund policy
Outdated explanation

Tiered refunds: 100 / 50 / 0.

Current policy

Full refund during the eligible grace period. Station incidents follow a separate review.

Comparing a proposed explanation with the current policy makes inconsistencies visible before they spread into other documents.

Still curious.
Still building.

I'm Thang, a final-year Computing student at the University of Greenwich. I like turning an idea into something I can use, inspect, and improve.

How I build

My foundation is in IT: backend services, web interfaces, and deployment. I use AI assistants while building, and I still need to understand the choices and check the results.

Why Day Zero

Day Zero is where I share what I try, what works, and what I would change, without limiting myself to one job title or pretending every experiment is finished.
